Questions

Things people ask us
before they hire us.

01 How long does a typical project take?
Discovery and architecture: two weeks. The first working system: six weeks. Production-ready with monitoring and documentation: ten to twelve weeks total. Projects that require custom model training run longer — we will scope it accurately in week one.
02 Do you work with teams who have existing data science staff?
Yes, and we prefer it. Your team knows your domain better than we ever will. We bring infrastructure, production experience, and speed. We have worked as embedded contractors and as arm’s-length vendors — both work.
03 What makes you different from other AI vendors?
We stay. Most vendors hand over a prototype and a knowledge transfer document. We measure success by whether the system is still running in twelve months — so we design for maintainability from the beginning.
04 Can you work with our compliance requirements?
Financial services and healthcare compliance is something we design around from day one, not something we bolt on at the end. We have experience with SOC 2 environments, data residency constraints, and model explainability requirements.
05 What does a discovery engagement cost?
Discovery and architecture is a fixed two-week engagement. We assess your data, define the system boundaries, and give you a scoped estimate for the build phase. You get a detailed technical brief whether or not you continue with us.
06 Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before discovery begins. We also carry professional indemnity insurance and can work within your standard vendor agreement templates.
